The right answer to the gate question
Why should I be let into Heaven? Whereas my previous answer might have been, "I've led a good life," the true answer is, "I know I don't deserve to be there, but Jesus Christ died and paid the penalty for my sins, offered me complete forgiveness as a gift, and I accepted that gift and transferred my trust from me to Him."
