What if I don't feel a need for God?
A man goes to the doctor for a routine physical even though he feels fine, but the doctor comes across something alarming. He discovers a lump with a size, shape and location that makes him suspect cancer. He tells the patient to get a biopsy and prepare for surgery. The patient says, "Not on your life. I'm feeling great! Everything is going terrific in my life. I don't have a problem." But just because a person doesn't feel the need doesn't mean that he doesn't have a need. That is the difference between a real need and a felt need.
