How can we trust mere copies?
What about the fact that we don't have any original manuscripts of the Bible, only copies? A missed word or two could make a real difference.

While there are no originals, we have so many copies that all the mystery is gone about what the originals actually said. Scholars who criticize the Bible don't do it on the basis of the fact that we don't know what the original text had to say.
