It's a good idea to start with one or more of the first four, then Acts, then the letters. The letters were written to provide encouragement, warning or further teaching about God, sometimes correction of a misunderstanding, and even prediction about the future. But certainly all of them contain directions as to how a Christian should live between here and Heaven. Many adults think, "Everyone else but me learned a lot about the Bible as a kid." In reality, few people learned much about the Bible in their youth. The good news is that it's never too late to start. |
