A little while later, the dog heard a call from his master. The master told him they were going hunting, and he was excited. The man said, "Before we do, I'm just going to check the newspaper to see what the weather's going to be like." The dog said, "You can't find out anything from a piece of paper." The man said, "Of course I can. I do it all the time." For once, the weather report was accurate, and the dog was amazed. He said, "Wow! That's a miracle!" Now again, it would have been a miracle if the dog had read the newspaper and learned something, but it wasn't a miracle for the man. |
